Okay, the event was won by Vladimir P. Malaniuk, 49, from Ukraine. But more interesting, for us at least, was the sight of world-class GMs facing children, in part a third their Elo rating and a third their weight, in the first round of the Corsica Circuit Open Festival that ended today.
